Litter management is an issue spanning multiple industries and interest groups. The solution to keeping litter out of our public spaces
requires a holistic approach encompassing behavioural psychology, community engagement, logistics of local governments, technology,
education, city planning and packaging design. KAB NSW facilitates communication between these distinct bodies to produce a collaborative
approach for overall best practice.

With an emphasis on thoughtful and research-based methods of inquiry and with input from a range of sectors, the Litter Congress provides
the opportunity for individuals and groups involved in litter management, prevention and reduction to assemble to jointly tackle littering and
behaviour change in an interactive environment.

Delegates will go home from the Congress with a deep understanding of the theory behind litter reduction and a comprehensive toolkit of
practical ideas to tackle litter in their community.
